35 weeks picture.

Oh I forgot to mention that my poor stretched belly finally succumbed to those dreaded stretch marks :-( I thought for sure i'd get by without any, but alas, all of the cocoa butter and bio oil couldn't keep them away, they're still pretty faint, below either side of my belly button, and it looks like I was attacked by a squirrel...ugh, I know, I know battle scars...but still!!

So yea.

35 weeks

I'll update this later with a picture, but for now things are cooking along...just getting huge. The insane hot flashes have started, I cannot -not- wear enough clothes! And it's been soooo hot here! Yesterday at Walmart I was sweating like a pig and my mom was with me and had a cardigan on..haha.

Baby is still moving alot, I have my next appointment on friday, I'm getting my hair trimmed one more time before the baby comes, it's just growing so fast! and I can't seem to style it in a way that I like, ugh...it's getting frustrating, and now i'm regretting not growing it out. I never had a problem with this stupid cowlick on the back of my head and now all of a sudden literally in the last year or two it has become HUGE and won't let me lay my hair the way I want it anymore...I mean i've had this same haircut for YEARS, and now all of a sudden it's all stupid. ugh!

My mom thinks the baby has dropped alittle bit, but I still can't breath...haha. I do notice movements are alittle lower than they have been, but who knows. I REALLY hope I don't go late, I don't want to be induced.

Although I had a bit of reality last night, I had to roll over to get up out of bed to go to the bathroom, and my stomach was sooooo tight I thought 'What if my water breaks?' This is like at 2 in the morning, and it is something that could be very possible (Don't worry I already purchased and installed a waterproof mattress cover) But anyway, as i'm stumbling to the bathroom, i'm like What would I do if my water broke right now?? I can't go have a baby, I am EXHAUSTED!! I would probably just go back to bed until my contractions started or when I woke up and then head to the hospital, I mean they tell you to come right in when your water breaks, but I would be soooo tired, I don't know if I could do that!! I'm sure things would be different when the time comes, but just last night, those were my thoughts and I was left very un-easy about the whole thing. ugh. I NEED my sleep, more than the average person, especially since I am getting up so many times during the night, I am soooo tired these days. Oh well, I guess i'll have to cross that bridge when the time comes...

34 weeks

Almost there!! After yesterday, I ended up getting partially dressed to make a trip to the store to get the fixin's for meatloaf...gross right? I don't eat it, Joel had been sick and was craving it...(He eats like a crazy person when he's sick) So being the amazing and adoring wife that I am, because and -only- because he was sick, I decided i'd be nice and make it for him...I guess it turned out wonderful, which is trouble for me. I had a little bit, and it was just as disgusting as I remembered..haha.

I also did some tidying up and around the house and felt like I wasn't a total blob...

Today I ran some errands, actually stopped by the clinic to get some vaccines for the puppies...(I made sure the boss wasn't there first) It was great to see everyone and I miss them, and working, but uhhh, you know...I can never go back there.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with my psychiatrist, I'm hoping everything comes out that I want to say and all that stuff...

So, yea..sleeping is still painful, acid reflux comes and goes, peeing like crazy during the night, and baby is kicking and wiggling like crazy. After next weeks appointment I start going every week!

Sooooo Unmotivated!

Joel is home sick, which makes things worse, I think I feed off of laziness...haha. I have NO motivation to do anything!! I'm trying to think of lists to do, but then I just keep thinking "I have plenty of time" I already wrote and sent out all my thank you cards from saturday, I went grocery shopping yesterday and even picked some dandelions for the bunnies, but today..eh.

I still have the laundry to do for the baby, but then in the back of my head I keep thinking "Well...I should just wait until after the next shower so I can just do it all at once.." But of course, if I do this first load and get it out of the way, then there will be less for me to do!! Hmmm...thoughts. I also have a few select items I need to return or exchange, but I figure I can do that after the other shower also, incase there are more I need to do...

I almost bought a paint by numbers the other day..I've also thought about getting a new book to read, or rereading an old book...But that all seems to take too much time, haha. UH!! I hate feeling like this!

Baby shower (Photo Bomb!)

So my first baby shower was today...it was really nice! It was alittle early...haha, at 11, but it was fun. My sister in law made some tasty treats and of course it was animal themed...And it was great to see all the family and the friends that came! I was alittle worried that I would be a party pooper because i'd been having some pretty bad braxton hicks this morning, but they slowed down during the shower and it wasn't so bad...He also wasn't moving much today which of course worried me, so I had my mind somewhere else, but he's been moving here and there and I know i'm in a new week where he's growing like a maniac and having less room to flip around, so ugh! Stop worrying!! Okay...so without further ado...

Okay...I know you can't grasp this just by reading, because by the time I figure out the pictures they will be here, but honestly this is taking forever...I don't understand why the 'almighty mac' can not figure out where my pictures are...they're downloaded and named, and yet when I try to 'upload' they claim they are not downloaded...but when I open iphoto separately, there they are magically!! ughhhh...I usually just email myself pictures and then copy and paste, but I figured i'd do it the normal way since there are so many...nope, mac wants to make everything hard..ugh!

So these blankets were made by our insanely talented friend Jessica, she makes the sweetest little things...

Crib full of goodies...this isn't everything, it's just everything I haven't found space for yet, and I still have to wash.

Jessica also made this little portable changing pad, it rolls up and has a super soft side so you can lay them down to change their diaper, and it have pockets on it too, so cute!

I've been eyeing these receiving blankets forever!! They're so cute!!

We got so many 'Rock Star' outfits, they're all so cute!! He's gonna be such a little rocker! hah.

Got this...I originally registered for the Boppy, but I guess this is all the new thing...You can have it vibrate and it had a soft side for lounging and a firmer side for feeding, so I think it looks pretty cool, we'll see how it works...(It also came with the sweetest elephant cover, soooo....)

Here's the closet...I have half of the clothes washed, thats why they're separated...One of Joels co-workers has a little boy thats just under a year, and they had a TON of clothes that were only worn once or brand new, so they gave them all to us!! So I washed all those clothes...that's not even half of it, there were a ton of pants and other onesies that are in the dresser.

So that's it! I think I have it all...I'm ready for this baby to come now!! Haha...I know, I know, a couple more weeks....!! So this week i'll be busy, I have some returning to do (Not alot though) and we got quite a few giftcards, but we'll probably hold on to those until we get closer to see what other things we need that we forgot about...But getting all this stuff ready makes it so much more real! Alright, well that's all for now!!..

33 weeks...

So things are about the same, just uncomfortable...Baby is rockin' and rollin' on a daily basis. Sleeping is still not fun....I usually fall asleep on the couch to prevent the indigestion until about 1am, and then I get up and go lay in bed. It stinks, but it's what works.  I have my next appointment on Friday, Joel gets to come with me, which is a big relief...I hope his work schedule stays on regular hours atleast for alittle while because then he gets every other friday off and can come to my appointments with me! Anyway, not a whole lot going on...haha, i'm so boring.

I hate sleeping....

Seriously, I dread going to sleep at night, I never thought i'd say that!! I LOVE sleep, anyone who knows me knows that I used to be able to sleep at any time of day, on anything. My 'naps' would usually last about 4 hours -minimum- and I could drift to sleep at 8 at night and sleep until 10, easily the next morning...ahhh, the days.

Now I have so many pillows wedged, and wake up coughing on my own stomach acid, and my hips feel like they might break in half...uhhhh, it sucks!

But anyway...I tried my first 'green smoothie' yesterday, it was delish!! It has spinach, kale, pineapple, banana, orange, yogurt and milk in it, very healthy!! I've been trying to balance out all the candy i've been craving...trying to get as much fruit and veggies in as I can, although I did find out that the pineapple should not be eaten before going to bed...it BURNS coming back up, eck.

Well i'm trying to find new things to keep myself occupied....The weather has been gorgeous and I wish I could do more outside because the fresh air helps with the nausea, but digging out the dirt and planting things is out of the question, I can barely bend over my huge belly...So i'll have to think of something else to keep myself occupied in the mean time.

Alright, well my complaining is done, just had to kill some time while i'm NOT sleeping....

32 weeks

Whew...it seems like I should be farther along than that, hah. Well things are pretty steady, Dr says i'm measuring right on time, little bugger is squirming around all the time...Sleep is no longer fun, I used to LOVE sleep, now I dread it...I usually can't fall asleep because I can't find a position that is comfortable, and then my hips will ache so awful in the night when I wake up to pee...which is now turning into 3-4 times instead of the lovely once a night...Atleast the heartburn comes and goes.

I'm pretty fatigued alot, which is frustrating because I don't do a whole lot, and I just feel like Ugh. But I can't nap to make me feel better, napping is usually a bust because I can't fall asleep, so I end up laying there for an hour uncomfortable, and just as tired as before...

Okay...i'll quit complaining now... Well baby boy still doesn't have a name, hah. I guess it's gonna be one of those things we'll have to wait for until he's born and then figure out what we like, I mean we have a couple names that it could be, but the ones that Joel REALLY likes, I haven't exactly felt like are the right name, and the names that I think are perfect are ones that he doesn't...so, I guess we'll see, I think either way we go, one of us is gonna have to settle.

I will say the best thing about being pregnant is that i've been able to wear so many things in my wardrobe I wouldn't wear because I didn't want my belly showing, so now that it doesn't matter I can wear it, it's like I have a whole new wardrobe!! haha, it's kind of funny...but sad because after I'm not comfortable with my body again i'm going to be back to the 5 shirts that I rotate..haha.

I'm really happy with how it all turned out...there's still some little odds and ends that need to be added, but I think most of that stuff i'll wait until after the showers to see what all I get from people. Joel's happy too, because now i'll quit nagging him that the crib isn't up yet :-) ...
